Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Position Summary:

Selected applicant will be expected to load and unload pallets, move materials to be stocked or shipped, operate a forklift to assist in unloading and moving materials and products, operate handheld tablets and scanners for inventory transactions, follows instructions per established process guidelines, have attention to detail, and performs other duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor

Essential Duties and requirements:

• An understanding of safe practices for Material Handling operations
• Operators will be required to use hand held tablets and scanners for inventory transactions and transfers
• Operators are required to maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Completes all required safety procedures prior to, and during operations
• Operation of standup and sit down style fork lifts required
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods
• Must be able to bend and stoop and able to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience: 

• Forklift experience desired, but not required 

Compensation:

• $15.50 per hour starting wage and up based on experience
• $1.25 increase for 2nd shift
• $0.75 increase for 3rd shift
