Our Investments in Automation Enhance Safety, Productivity and Process Consistency
With our state-of-the-art Trumpf TruBend Cell 5000 bending station, even large parts (up to 300 lbs.) are like “putty in our hands,” offering a fully automated bending process for the safe and efficient production of consistently high-quality parts.
Most of our high-volume, repetitive welding is performed on robotic weld cells. We will continue to install the latest technology from Yaskawa Motoman Robotics. 11 Industrial Robots in various weld cell configurations utilize Comarc (Seam Tracking), TouchSense and offline programming for higher repeatability and throughput. The added benefits of superior welding quality and repeatability from Fronius USA LLC allows for the highest quality welding in the market.
Automated Storage and Retrieval
One of our newest investments (commissioned in 2021) couples the most advanced technology available in flat laser cutting systems with automated storage/retrieval and finished parts separation. We have installed a 20-tower Stopa storage system, tied to Trumpf LiftMaster and PartMaster automation. All of this feeds our most productive 8,000 and 10,000-watt Fiber Lasers and allows for future growth and expansion. This highly productive system will be the centerpiece of our operations for years to come!
